Service Description

Thank you for booking! Please read below. For our somatic therapy session please wear comfortable clothes you can move freely on and remove any jewelry or restricting accessories. If able, please have a water bottle and a cup of tea ready. Somatic Therapy is a combination of breath work, mindfulness and restorative Yoga poses used to process stored trauma in the body. The goal of processing stored trauma in the body is for our nervous system to come out of fight, freeze, flight and fawn mode and go back to its natural alert but relaxed state. During and after the session, you may recall memories and feel a range of emotions from peace and ease to sadness and anger; It is important to practice mindfulness and have an arsenal of self-care practices that will help you navigate such emotions. We will work on finding those practices together in the first part of the session and I will show you some mindfulness and somatic techniques that will help you navigate and process such emotions.
